About Shaun Belekurov

The quintessential Aquarius S.M. Belekurov (aka Spooky Sanchez, Shaun B.) is the son of Russian Immigrants who escaped a German detainment camp to come to America. His lifelong pursuit of all things strange and paranormal has led him here and to the Paranormal Cookbook. Shaun has spent 19 years in the field, investigating paranormal phenomena and would class himself as a Paranormal Field Investigator and a Paranormal Profiler (specializing in cases of high strangeness), as well as being the author of "2012: The Paranormal Cookbook (Convergence of Reality and the Supernatural)". He also contributes widely on the paranormal internet.

This has taken him everywhere from investigating Chupacabra sightings outside Tijuana, Mexico, Bigfoot Hunting in Washington State and most recently trailing the "Hellhound of the Ozarks" in his back-yard.

In 2005, along with his beautiful wife, Chini, he founded S.P.O.O.K.S. (a paranormal field investigative unit based out of Springfield, Mo.). Chini is originally from South Korea and the daughter of what we would consider a psychic medium in the US. She (Umm) has been consulted by various Buddhist monks and even the first female Presidential Candidate in Korea.

His other great love is to ride a 2003 (100 year anniversary) Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200XL - " ... cuz its mean!"
