What's new in our coverage of the Paranormal, Supernatural and Unexplained
Perception9 Paranormal - the difference shows.
When we started P9, we were determined to cover the paranormal, the supernatural and the simply unexplained in an open and very honest way. We were
fed up to the back teeth that the idea that websites and their ratings came first and that truth and content came a poor second in some sort of race to be top dog in the rankings. The only rankings that we
want to be top of are for integrity and respect for our Members, for their views and also for honest research, investigation and help.
We were also absolutely tired of those websites where only one viewpoint counts, where flaming and intimidation rule. We'd had enough of websites that seemed to want their users on board only for
advertising fodder and who looked at studying the paranormal as a good way to get rich on the backs of people's fears, worries or need for information.
No wonder then that the paranormal and supernatural is scorned and viewed with so much scepticism. That nothing gets achieved in finding real answers and that the whole base of interest is so fragmented.
Odd then that Perception9 has moved up through those ratings that others deem so important, simply because we have concentrated on people being themselves and the subject being the reason that the site
exists. Perhaps that is news!!
So, what is new on P9? A great deal!
The forum and chat room are very busy places but they are not the only areas on P9 where there is an interactive element. On the Perception9 Home Page, we have sections on Ghosts and Hauntings, The
Afterlife, The Occult and other aspects of the realms of the paranormal. Within these sections there are a multitude of articles - each of which can be commented on directly under the item. These areas
are now expanding fast.
Our Reference Section, covering the whole of the paranormal is blossoming and so are our Workshops areas, in fact bossoming very quickly. Again, comments are welcome and can be made directly on the
item page. The only thing that slows our expansion is due to the work-load falling to the Admin Team - we luv it though!! P9 Members have taken to putting their stamp on the site as well as
providing experiences and articles, so Perception9 Paranormal is also achieving its other ambition of being a Member driven website.
We have said this before but we will shortly be expanding this idea further to include Blog Pages where all Members can post their blogs. Yes, we said this in an earlier News piece but we like to get
things right and that takes time ... and again a load of working it through. Wherever possible, we prefer to tailor how our pages work to what our Membership likes - not just put on something that's
quick and handy - so we are developing our own blog pages. But happen it will!!
So, along with our footage areas with Ghost Cam streaming, videos, EVPs as well as our partnering groups and other paranormal websites, there's a lot going on.
We still firmly believe in the idea that instead of everyone standing alone, a paranormal network can take shape with a wealth of expertise and information being freely available with everyone
benefitting and the old 'website' barriers coming down. We think it's a good thing that our Members can freely access other sites to follow and add to their interest.
Going back to the partnership point, as Perception9 Paranormal covers the whole of the paranormal and all belief aspects, any Group, Coven or Society can form through our website and freely use the
benefits of the features that we offer or existing websites and groups will be warmly welcomed, as a Partner, to do the same.
