Are Myths and Legends related to the paranormal? We at Perception9 Paranormal certainly think this is the case. The line between mythical and legendary events or beings - and paranormal events and beings - is indeed blurred. It can all be put under the heading of 'unexplained'. Much paranormal belief in fact stems from what can be termed as mythological sources. Why do we have these stories - could it be that with many there is the basis of some truth wrapped up within them?
To cover this, we have set out below, a list of categories covering the different aspects and subjects which have achieved the status of enduring myth or legend. Looking into the mythology of folk lore, cultural stories and fables as well as tales and sagas. Does cryptozoology occur and do monsters exist or have they ever existed? Did Atlantis sink into the Bermuda Triangle? Did ancient astronauts ever visit us and do they continue to do so?
