Ive been aware of my mum on many an occassion..we were also very close.
Because of the nature of her illness before she died she was giving off a kind of sweet ikky smell I cant really describe it other than it was unique and just an odd smell.
The day me and my two sisters went to the shop to get the flowers organised for the funeral we all stood together at the counter but all of a sudden we all shifted off in different directions and it wasnt until later I mentioned 'that' smell my sisters said they also smelled it.
It's happened to all 3 of us when we are all together several times and seperately as well. None of us doubt its her at all even the eldest sister who really wont go along with any kind of life after death ideas
I really appreciate it. Ok, my daddy who was full blooded Cherokee native american, was a Mohokan in our tribe, in english this is roughly translated as an Earth Child I guess you could say. It is said that he had an extreme connection with mother nature. When I was little he used to take me around on his shoulders all the time, talking to me, and teaching me all there was to know about the animals, trees, and long talks about the different kinds of birds, he especially loved birds. He told me once that no matter how far apart he was from me that he would always let me know he was there with me, and I would never be alone. He passed away in April of 2000 and since then whenever I feel lonely, scared or uncertain about things and I tell him I need him, and this never fails, I look down and there will be a perfect feather and the wind will blow, and I can feel him all around, and sometimes even smell him. The one and only time it ever freaked me out a lil is when I found a feather on my kitchen floor. But, my daddy was a cut up sometimes
