Paranormal Investigation Equipment

Articles on Equipment Used in Paranormal Investigations and Research, by David Rountree

David Rountree's Scientific Paranormal Research Equipment

Over the years, in the course of paranormal investigation, various electronic (and non electronic) items of equipment have been utilised in the search for answers to paranormal phenomena. Some have proved their worth, others have been discarded but currently sound and video recorders, EMF meters and cameras are viewed as essential parts of paranormal investigation data gathering. David and his collegues take equipment used to research and study the paranormal, the supernatural and the downright unexplainable to new and cutting edge extremes.

The equipment used is also employed in research and investigation as to why certain items might interact with paranormal dimensions and realms, bringing insights into what the interacting elements of the paranormal actually are, or could be - and in furthering this, to investigate the findings with the intent to scientifically prove other realities.

A good example being the EVP / EMF Correlator. This brings together both of those fundemental approaches to paranormal investigation; the capture and study of 'spirit' voices and the monitoring of EMF changes caused by a 'presence' or event. Is there a correlation? This instrument will give a better understanding relating to the 'energies' involved.

Some of the research equipment utilises added extentions of capabilities to often used items - but much equipment stems from new thinking and fresh approaches to paranormal study. Taking the science of physics into new areas, finding how much of the metaphysical can be confirmed from and studied by ourselves in the physical world - and how it can be best achieved.

Articles and explanations on the equipment developed (and being developed) for furthering the research and study of the paranormal - and its effects - are listed below.
