Using The Akashic Records
Where is it, what is and who is minding the store while you are unaware of its presents?
You're the one responsible for everything! It lies within consciousness, the ever-present faculty that keeps a record of everything. If you were asked to review an aspect of your life, depending on the degree you want to remember, you could recall it vividly or you may have locked the door and forgotten where you put the key. It's like a computer with a password, you either can't remember the password or you are conveniently forgetting it. Sorry, forgetfulness can't be done. The Akashic Records keep everything. There are ways to access the information and find the key/password. Who wants to know and why? What is the intent behind wanting to know this type of information?
'Intent' ... You say! I'd like to know, I'm curious! Maybe if I knew more about me, I could change things, I could use the information as a tool to attract attention ... you never know, perhaps I was someone important in a past life.
Remember that key you conveniently misplaced ... do you really want to find it, there was a reason why you created that key. It's one of reasons we have that veil of forgetfulness in each incarnation, to enable us to work out issues that have had an impact on our soul's journey. Do you really want to know? The truth is out there, but are you ready?
Diana and I had been given the opportunity/privilege to access the Akashic Records for some information of this type, a reading was requested (for the highest good of a client's soul) asking that only the appropriate information be revealed to the soul at this particular time which the soul will understand, and any pertinent information which may be other than that which is requested. We had been asked to assist a young man who had become quite the loner, a long distance truck driver, not very communicative and who had very few friends. We asked on his behalf and this is what we received:
"There is an incarnation that is having a bearing upon the soul at this time. The soul experienced an incarnation as a miner in the country of Wales, mining coal, and was present when there was an accident within the mine which took the lives of several co-workers at the same time. In the moment when he sensed death was approaching he cried out in anguish and cursed his God. And as this soul passed over there was a feeling of dread. In his current incarnation, that feeling of hopelessness has been repeatedly experienced by this soul.
A memory was stored within the physical after conception and yet, you see, even though the soul progressed into the Light, the thoughts in those final moments of the incarnation were of such an impact that at times there has been sensed great despair. One of the ways in which this is affecting self is closing self off at times. It is not realized that this is being done, but on another level, the soul is recalling turning his back on the God in whom he had believed in that incarnation.
There have been excursions, lifetimes on other planetary systems. The word Arcturian comes to mind as a distant echo. The planet Sirius has also had its impact, as have Jupiter and the planet Venus.
There is strength, a strength of character of one who walked upright. There have been expressions (incarnations) as monk and priest. There have been more male expressions than female.
It is sensed there is a strong knowing yet a strong disbelief at the same time. There is little more that can be revealed about this incarnation at this time. You see, one must wait until the soul is consciously seeking, consciously making an effort to begin the inward journey with purpose and intent, rather than feeling that one is, in some small sense, obligated to begin (his wife - who had requested the reading - was trying to 'nudge' him into exploring some spiritual pursuits).
The affinity with nature and with large bodies of water have spanned countless incarnations, as fisher, and diver for pearls. He is waiting to dive into the depths once more to retrieve that pearl of remembrance. And this is all we feel that is appropriate to share at this time, unless there is a question."
Q. What direction should his career be heading - opportunities don't seem to be presenting themselves at this time, what direction should he go for career change or role.
A. "As this soul begins the inner journey, those questions will be answered. You see, now is the time and the opportunity is being presented (to him) at this time for this to occur."
We were also told that his 'loner' tendencies were connected with a reluctance to get to know people. Shortly after this session, we receive word that there was considerable improvement in the young man's disposition. He was now more communicative and friendly.
I'll leave this with you ... as we all have to come to own understanding of our new perceptions. Accept what feels right for you and let go what doesn't feel right. You never know ... our perceptions can change any minute. Be prepared to expect the unexpected.

As a matter of interest the Cayce readings include thousands of such readings as well as, in many cases, follow up over years. as in this case - fascinating.
With reference to the Akashic records I seemed to have had an experience of relevance:
In about March 1961 I had a meditational experience followed, a few days later, by a dream. In the first a computer keyboard floated together with the communication - understanding really - that "the answer lies in the keyboard."
The preamble to the dream is that I had asked a secondhand book dealer to get a book for me.
In the dream this man arrived with the book as well as another, and put both books on the table in front of me. Then, he picked up the book I had requested and departed; leaving behind an A4 sized book with an eggshell blue coloured cover with the title SKY in a darker blue, in 6 cm high letters and nothing more.
In considering the possible meaning* of the dream, which I did not consider in relation to the previous meditation experience, the only connection, or possible connection, I could make were in the order: all sky blue, the word "sky" in Sinhala (the language of my country of birth, Sri Lanka), derived from Sanskrit, is "akasha"; akasha refers to Akashic records and, hence, I had had, did have or was to have access to the Akashic records.
As related elsewhere, about a week later, in these and the prior rather unusual circumstances I wrote "The Milk Is White" (often accompanied by profound humility and amasement!)
